Summer Sun

I made some cards for the Cards Magazine cover contest. I didn't win : ( but it was a fun challenge. They asked for two cards made with similar colors to compliment each other. They were to be one vertical and one horizontal the same size to be published together. I will post a few that I submitted. I loved the idea of a layered sun and the colors turned out super cute! Emmie Barbie Princess Birthday Party!

Emmie had so much fun at her Barbie Princess party! She invited seven little girls and they had lunch and played. She actually opened her own presents this year. All the little girls dressed up like princesses, it was so cute. They really loved the cake and it turned out cute with a little help from one of Emma's Barbies. She got lots of fun new toys to play with. I cant believe she is 3 years old! My little girl is growing up so fast!

Okay, so it's been a while since my last update. We just past spring break and now I am getting ready for birthday parties again! Emmie will be 3 this month she is such a little girl and loves pink pink pink! Noah will be 11 and his love for building things science and history he must get from his father! I am planning a Barbie Princess Party for Emmie and Noah will have a Wii party for a few friends. Then in May Jonah will be 8 and he will be getting baptized! I am going to have the biggest Luau Party for him and we are going to get him another surfboard. He has turned out to be the little surfer! He is ready for his own board! Time sure seems to fly! They are all growing up so fast!

I just got a new computer and hope to be able to keep up with my posts! The kids are not allowed to use it anymore due to the constant problems. This means it's mine all mine! All I need now is a little free time and some creative ideas. I will be able to check out other blogs for cute ideas and I can start keeping in touch again! If anyone knows of any great blogs they think I would love let me know!

Halloween Was So Much Fun!

We had so much fun this year! We went to Bates Nut Farm to feed the animals and pick out pumpkins. It was neat to see the little girls trying to pick up the heavy ones. We took some fresh lettuce and carrots for the animals this year, it was easier for the little ones to feed them. We went to another pumpkin patch that had rides, the boys loved it! We will definitely be back next year. We had our annual Fall Festival at school and played lots of games. This year my friend Charla and I did lots of baking for the festival to raise money for the school it was so much fun! This year Noah was a zombie, Jonah was a vampire and Emmie was a princess and a witch. They were all so cute! We crashed our old wards Trunk or Treat. Our ward decided to not have one this year, the kids were really sad so we visited some old friend and made some new ones! Halloween night we went to Carmel Mountain Ranch and went to all the stores. They have an annual Trick or Treat for all the kids in the neighborhood. Then as if we needed more candy the kids decided to do a little more trick or treating all the way to our friends house. We finished the night with a scary movie and Pat and Oscars. I just love Halloween and this year was so much fun!
